1 Pallet, 2 Pallet...

So, the Summer is on! We had wonderful three sunny days here in Ireland (that is as much of summer as you can get here) so I decided to keep myself busy and start a project of my own: PALLET BED. Yeap, sure you have seen it all over the internet for quite a looooong time now but I only got around of making one recently.

I would like to share few pointers with those of you who are thinking of making such bed base as well. There is plenty of manuals online on how to do it and it is really not hard at all but the work, the work guys that is definitely a killer (unless you have proper power tools which I do not,so I ended up doing everything by hand and by hand saw).

Pointer no. 1 

If you are on the budget and can not afford brand new pallet then always order more than you need as not all the pallets will be the same size and build.



Pointer no. 2  

Be sure to make the bed on your days off. It seems fairly easy to put few pallets together but you need to clean them up, sandpaper them, apply multiple coats of paint ( for the white gloss color that I used  I was able to re-coat after 12 hrs.)so all around its not a 2 hours job.




Pointer no. 3 

Measure and measure and measure everything. After I applied headboards on the back of the pallets I realized they are not the same height but because I didn't measure it didn't show when I was putting it together as I was using the exactly same pallets for this. (Genius moment).

Hello, One Blackberry Passport Please!

Aahhh the dilemma we facing to when choosing a new phone. Some people just walk in to the store ,pick the one they like and thats the end of it. 

For a vast majority though it is Lil bit harder than that. We watch reviews and unpacking videos  on Youtube, read multiple customer experiences from every corner of the web and then make the decision, of course, which network provider and what monthly plan to choose is another thing  and takes as much or more time as choosing the phone itself.
I prefer to save up money and then buy the phone prepaid and just use any of the great monthly credit top up offers that comes at great value and best of all ,I am not "married" to any carrier for 2 years. 

I am only "engaged" to my Blackberry Passport.


WHAAT? OMG! It is 2016 why would you buy phone not only 2 years old but being it a blackberry as well?!

I belong to a smaller group of consumers.
Particular to the ones that get excited about innovation and prefers performance and productivity over "whats hot and rose pink gold colors ".

Besides it looks sexy as hell ( I like squares) and IT IS DIFFERENT from any other phones on the market.

Apart from the obviously different design (Thank you Blackberry) the phone offers very good performance even after a months of use. Takes decent photos for average camera user such as myself , offers great productivity features, runs android .apk and the build in keyboard is out of this world feature that acts as touch pad , has availability to assign shortcuts to apps and contacts and keeps your display cleaner for longer as you can use it for scrolling through emails,web browser etc. 

Even 2 years after its been announced ,this phone has been my choice recently as I was disappointed in what other manufacturers had to offer for price. I want the future. Give us the bendable display already. Give me a distinguishable phone that will not look like copy of Iphone. Create something different. Or not. Keep the same designs, change materials, take away waterproofing and SD cards slots, then add them again,  increase the power of CPU a little so average person wont even notice the difference comparing to last model... as you are doing it now.

There is phone for everyone out there. In the end of the day you know what will you be using it for. And every phone out there offers something that has its audience. This is not a sale pitch. I am bad on those. It is an option to consider for someone who can not decide between what is available. 

This phone is available. And it will serve you well.
